Be amazed by the talent of our local artists: The Hansa Gallery is seeing itself as a platform for creative local art and has lovely paintings on display. You can also admire aesthetic jewellery created by goldsmith C. Stabenow or have a look at various kinds of pottery, brick ceramics and a selection of paintings at Weber's Workshop.

Baltic Sea Festival

The Baltic Sea Festival has been offering ambitious theatre productions and thrilling entertainment in an enchanting ambiance since 2003. Attracting more than 20,000 visitors every summer, this open-air festival has become a major cultural attraction in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania.

Restored to its original shine and re-opened in 2008, the 1916 built Stralsund Civic Theatre is hosting many great performances ranging from ballet and concerts to musical theatre and excellent plays. Wallenstein Festival

The rumbling of gun fire and hundreds of people in authentic dresses – the whole atmosphere is introducing the audience and Stralsund’s visitors to a former historical time period.
